• VC brings the diagnostic advantage
of a state of the art fully digital portable ultrasound system, providing electronically transferable, HIPAA compliant, images.
• VC offers reliable, personal focus on the evaluation of venous disease, patient education, as well as assistance
during venous ablation procedures (that can significantly shorten the amount of time needed to perform procedures), and procedure
follow-up ultrasound evaluation.
• VC can provide a temporary bridging for an established clinic with the
space to grow but which is not yet at the point to be able to justify employing a technologist and/or adding a second ultrasound
system.
• VC can provide you with vacation coverage.
Suzanne has more than 20 years of experience
in the assessment of venous disease. In 2002, she became involved in ultrasound guidance for radiofrequency ablation of saphenous
veins and since has provided ultrasound guidance for hundreds of venous procedures, including perforator vein ablations (using
both laser and radiofrequency modalities).
Suzanne’s career in Vascular Technology began in Ireland, where she
graduated from the College of Technology, Kevin Street, Dublin, in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurements in 1991.
Suzanne moved to the US in 1997, and over the course of the next eight years served as the technical director in ICAVL accredited
Vascular Laboratories both in Boston and Minneapolis. In 2005, Suzanne moved to Atlanta where she spent five years acting
as the Senior RVT in a dedicated vein clinic.
